Review of Country style Seitan steak plate at Souley Vegan by sandrews
I really wished I liked this restaurant more than I do, it’s an institution in the SF Bay Area vegan scene. But this dish was just okay. What looks like dal is actually mashed potatoes, which were good, but a bit too salty. The greens were way too salty. The chicken fried steak was okay, but there was hardly any gravy. After having excellent Cajun food in Mendocino (Fog Eater Cafe), I don’t think I’d be happy with anything else.
