These are really great for when you’re looking for a plant-based option to a regular burger. They’re thicker than the veggie burgers usually sold by this company. They do take a little longer to cook than other burgers, 10-11 minutes per side, so be sure to prepare something else for the meal during the cooking time. Otherwise, you might just keep watching the burgers cook in the pan, and you know what they say about a watched pan! 😅
Honestly, I’m unsure how this is different from their Perfect Burger. Both have similar ingredients, both incorporating four different veggies, both high in protein, both similar in taste and texture.
Nutritionally, one (113g) burger contains 230 calories from 12g of fat, 10g of carbohydrates (6g from fiber), and 22g of protein. There’s also a nice amount of iron, as well as some calcium and potassium.
I purchased these a couple of weeks ago from Mom’s Organic Market, as they were on sale there for $3.29, regularly $5.49.
