Vegan Pizza at El Sapo — numinous's Review (Dec 8, 2022)

El Sapo is not mainly a vegan restaurant. They do have a vegan pizza, however, it is too pricey for what they offer.
I think it is one of their most expensive pizzas and with no reason. The ingredients of the vegan pizza are wayyy less expensive than the ingredients that they use for the other pizzas.
I understand the demand is not the same, but the vegan pizza’s ingredients are nothing out of the ordinary. And I would even dare say that they’re less expensive than the other ingredients.
The pizza tasted nice, it was not bad. It was just a little underwhelming. When you pay that amount of money, you would expect something better. Instead, it was kind of soggy and the overall taste was something you could do better at home.
I appreciate the effort to make a vegan dish though!
I think it’s worth the try if you’re really craving pizza, but just know you won’t get what you pay for really.
