🇬🇧 This pastries has been on the market for many many years, now the brand sells them empty or with apricot jam filling but I’m pretty sure back in time there was also a cherry jam filling on the shelf (I prefer empty ones simply because I can stuff them whatever I want), now there’s also a very interesting whole grain version but unfortunately you find honey in the ingredients.
I like having a bunch of these at home for a quick snack or putting one in my purse, sweetness is not overwhelming so imho they work great also with a savory filling of choice.

🇮🇹 Sono tanti anni che esistono queste briochine, mi pare di ricordare che ci fossero anche con confettura di ciliegie mentre ora li trovo solo con albicocche oppure vuoti (che io preferisco perché ci metto quello che voglio), c’è anche una variante integrale molto interessante ma purtroppo contiene miele.
Mi piace averne qualcuna in casa per infilarla in borsa al volo oppure per una merenda veloce, non sono eccessivamente dolci e secondo me viaggiano alla grande anche con ripieno salato.
