Marmite

#recyclable, #palmoilfree

Alright, Marmite is definitely the last brand on Earth that I would associate with peanut butter.

It isn’t your usual 100% pure peanut butter. It has nutritional yeast added, and other vitamins too. It is a fortified peanut butter.

I find it very interesting, “why do you need to add peanut oil as an ingredient?” and that is where my research began…

Peanut oil, or any other combination of oil, are commonly added into peanut butter to prevent the natural separation of oil of peanut butter when settled.

I really like my food to have as little as ingredients as possible. Not only my food, but food serve to everyone. Everyone deserves healthy food.

I am alright and willing to put my arm to work to blend the peanut oil that has been separated. I don’t really need additional oil to be added into something that is wholesomely good.

Marmite is good to add peanut oil. Some brands added a combination of oil which made me wonder at time are they “leftover”

This brand is extremely “salty” and I guessed it is from the nutritional yeast which is the second main ingredients… and I like it 🤣
