Review of Vegan Cannoli at Coven plant based marketplace by whatacuriousnotion
I had never had a cannoli before trying one at Coven over the summer. I had been craving it again recently so I went last week. I wish they were bigger, especially when I see it next to my partner's cinnamon bun haha. The pastry is crisp - hard enough to keep the cheesy goo inside but not so hard that you worry about breaking a tooth. The filling is creamy but light tasting with a hint of lemon. I was a schnickers square die-hard before I tried this but now I'm a cannoli lover!

whatacuriousnotion They're very different flavours so it's hard to compare directly. The cannoli is light and fresh while the schnickers is decadent as heck. The schnickers squares freeze pretty well, so you could always get both and enjoy the schnickers later. I cut them into 4 and freeze them separately to make them last longer. 1 likeReply
