This is the non-Caribbean, regular version of 'shredded beef', made out of soy. Flavor was ok, definitely less spiced than the Caribbean version but still tasted pretty good. It doesn't really taste like beef but it's a good substitute. It was as good as expected.
Had it delivered to our apartment in Costa Rica for like $6 and it's a large amount so I think it's worth it. We made more chalupas with it and it was enough for like 4 meals. Package was definitely better, they're improving haha and it's not plastic which we appreciated :)
So another good product from this super vegan friendly brand thay we highly recommend.
