Review of Plant Power Breakfast at Privé Jewel Changi Airport by eritakay

Had this platter before my flight. It consists of a plant-based #sausage patty, #tofu #scramble, roasted red #peppers, half an #avocado, #hummus, #bakedbeans, #roasted tomato, sautéed button #mushrooms, hash brown, #mesclun and house-made #multigrain #toast

Serving time took almost 40 minutes despite the restaurant only having three tables of customers (the larger group had most of their dishes served already) at the time, it turned out the waitress sent my food to the other table by mistake, and the other customer accepted it as theirs 🤦🏻‍♀️

Everything on this platter goes well with each other except for the hummus because it was a little sour; maybe it was about to go bad? Not sure.

My favourites were the sausage, hash brown and mesclun. The tofu scramble was done pretty well, too; no water pooling out of it like the ones I made 😅

I prefer their sausage muffin.

Customer #service was terrible — the whole payment process made me feel like I was a hindrance to them; I’ve never had such an experience at other Privé restaurants (shout out to ACM, Orchard and Chijmes 🥳), I stood at the cashier, and someone, probably the manager, processed my bill, but at the same time she was shouting instructions past me to her staff to serve other customers 😂 I was dumbfounded.

Not the first time experiencing bad customer service at their Jewel outlet.
