The first ALDI opened on the island, so we had to do the obligatory vegan crawl. These wonder burgers were underwhelming, in the package (which is difficult to separate from the patties) it looks a bit strange being white and lumpy and after cooking looked basically the same. The nutritional values and ingredient list are fabulous, but my hubby and I agreed that the taste was meh. I got similar chicken style burgers from Lidl recently and they were also white and stayed that way after cooking.. also fairly dry and boring.. 

I am looking forward to the day Heura's no-chick patties make it to the islands!! Has Heura arrived to Bulgaria?
