I used this to make a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and it melted nicely on the pan. The taste was really good- a mild sort of spicy kick- but unfortunately the texture was sticky like so many other vegan cheeses. The bread helped cut back on the stickiness but it was still noticable.
Each slice has a lot of fat in it but the slices are on the small and thin side. I had to use three slices to get a nice grilled cheese which adds up calorie wise. The bulk of the calories comes from coconut oil.
I found this on sale at Grocery Outlet for a good deal, but I don't think I would pay full price for this.
