Review of Bittergourd with tofu and rice at Time's Vege by fluffyfloofs

It’s been a long time since I had bittergourd and seeing it on the menu, I thought why not. On serving, it appeared dry (not evenly coated with the black bean sauce). However, it was actually quite refreshing and crunchy when I bit into it. The fried tofu accompanying it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which I realized was pretty much the standard for its tofu here as I did order the hotplate tofu without egg too, which tasted the same. Overall a decent dish, and my only complaint is that although the fried tofu had a bit of sauce, the dish was quite dry in general, and i found myself eventually dipping everything into the sea of roasted peanut sauce from the satay beehoon i ordered :P
