Valiant's Barrie

After talking about it for a while, I finally visited Valiant’s in Barrie, Ontario. One of us ordered the Greek Philly just to have something different. She was not as impressed with this sandwich as I was with mine. It didn’t have enough of that Greek taste / flavour as expected. And the taste of the seitan roast chick’n was off.
As for the restaurant itself, we weren’t too impressed. We didn’t expect water to be served in paper cups and our dinners to be served in paper bowls with plastic cutlery. It seemed rather wasteful and not aligned with the vegan/environmental movement. For this reason, we would be reluctant to return.

Omg same! I have heard so many good things about the place and I was unimpressed with the food. The wings I had to throw out cuz they were so gross, the pho was not pho, it was a soup with 2 noodles in it, so ya, reluctant to return as well
