😬 This is a Malay interpretation of #charkueyteow. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm not a big fan of this dish with so much #kicapmanis. Prefer the smokiness of the Chinese version 😛

#shiitake #mushroom and scrambled #tofu pretending to be egg provided the variety of texture/flavour here. Wasn't enjoying it so much by the end 😐 #malaysianeats

Got to give them kudos for that beautiful wooden tray though! (Picture 2)

The tray is stunning , great contrast to the dark plate
