I'm not the biggest nutritional yeast fan and no, I don't think it adds a "cheesy flavor" like many vegan recipe blogs state.
But if a recipe calls for it. I'll add it for some added B12. I like this brand, and the jar lasts me awhile.

I agree with you - I have never felt it adds a "cheesy" flavor - I will not just sprinkle it on stuff all willy nilly like some say - and I would never ruin a good pasta dish with it
