Scrambles aren’t my typical fare, but I thought it might be interesting to try this protein-rich, convenient, and microwave-ready option. It was also on deep discount because its best-by date is today. It’s quite crumbly, so rather than eating the scramble by itself, I wrapped about half the serving (plus rice) into a breakfast burrito. It was surprisingly not bad; however, I also added a generous helping of hot sauce, because despite being flavored with three different types of chili (ancho, chipotle, and cayenne,) the scramble is barely spicy. If anything, there’s too much salt — 30% DV! — which sort of flattens the flavor. I can see this being handy in a rush, but ultimately, it’s not really for me.
