🔸Misfits-Chocolate Caramel🔸

I’m obsessed with protein bars so you can guess how excited I was to try the Misfit ones! They weren’t available in Slovenia up until now. In Jager you can get this and the Speculoos flavour, but soon you’ll be able to buy even more flavours on @misfits_slovenija , which kindly gifted this to me! That does not change anything & my review will still be 100% honest.

The bar consists of 3 layers: base, caramel & chocolate coating.
The base is made od pea protein and soy crispies, which give it such a nice crunch!
The caramel layer is quite thin, there could be more of it. It has a salted caramel taste to it. The chocolate coating is not too thick & rounds up everything into a whole.

Overall the bar is not too sweet-just right, without any weird artificial taste. It’s not grainy & you can’t taste the protein powder.
The bars aren’t as decadent/dessert-like as I imagined, they lean more towards a “healthy” protein bar rather than a candy bar.
It reminds me a little bit of Twix-but I haven’t had one in years so take that with a pinch of salt.
Heated up in the microwave it’s even better, as the layers melt into each other and flavours get more prominent.

The macros are great as well-16g of protein for this 45g bar!
