Wow wow wow i so love this!
Its fried lion mane, long beans,potatoes n tofu. The rendang gravy is poured on top. I ordered an additional serving of tempeh as well.
The rice is cooked with lemongrass n ginger,so flavourful.It’s like the rice in nasi lemak minus the coconut milk. Served with a side generous dallop of those pickled vegetables.
Traditionally, the malays or indonesians wld probably not like tht the rendang gravy is just poured on top. the authentic style wld hv to be cooked together with the dish so it cld absorb all the flavour. But i guess it is more practical wen ure running a business,especially so with their price range.
Ok perhaps not entirely healthy too cos the ingredients are fried n then the gravy is plopped on top.
Very filling so it fills me up for a loooong day of classes.
