My non-vegan dad’s favorite sandwich is a Reuben 🥪, so I was excited to see a version on this all-vegan menu! This sammy was full of tempeh, sauerkraut, walnut pesto spread, and vegan cheese (which I didn’t really notice so I’m not sure if they forgot it or if it was melted shreds that blended in) between fantastic fluffy, herby focaccia bread! You also get to choose from a variety of sides to complete your meal. My dad chose a coleslaw, which was vinegar based rather than Mayo, which I preferred but he didn’t. I really appreciated how adventurous and generous my dad was to try out a fully-vegan spot with me and he was pleasantly surprised at how much he enjoyed this new take on a Reuben, he even enjoyed the tempeh! I had a couple bites and thought it was yummy too, especially the bread!
