Mittagsmenü mit Burger "Frohnatur" und Fritten at PETER PANE Binz Burgergrill & Bar — Claudia's Review (Jul 14, 2022)

Vegan combo available until 5 pm which consists of a burger of your choice (I picked the burger "Frohnatur" with a vegan bun (you can choose between sourdough or multigrain, pictured is the sourdough one), a falafel-pea-patty, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, spinach and vegan garlic mayo), a side of your choice (the only vegan options here are the regular fries (pictured here) and the small side salad), a cold non-alcoholic beverage of your choice and a hot beverage of your choice (not pictured here). I have to say I'm a bit disappointed about Peter Pane this time after loving their options in Oberhausen a while ago because this time the burger wasn't that great, the patty didn't taste like falafel but as if it was made from raw chickpea flour and wasn't cooked thoroughly (if you ever tasted raw chickpea flour you'll know what I mean). Also the presentation was a bit messy. The fries were crispy and okay, I love that all sauces on the table (ketchup, mayo and a fruity sauce) are vegan and free. The restaurant is currently open for dining in without any Corona restrictions, but as restrictions in Germany are changing very quickly and all the time, make sure to inform yourself about them if you plan on dining in and don't have a complete vaccine passport or proof of recovery.
