Kupel's Bakery is a childhood favorite; a short walk from my grandparent's place in Brookline.

Maybe it's because I've been spoiled by the vegan cream cheese game on the West Coast, but Kupel's Tofu Chive cream cheese was disappointing to say the least! No hint of tartness, somehow leafy but not chive-y, and not very creamy.

That being said, the Tofu Lox cream cheese that my partner, Michael, got was a lot better.
