When someone has a cough, these cough drops keep the hacking in the household at bay. *there is red dye #40 but no carmine. Red dye #40 has been found to cause ADD in children and I do not appreciate it in my food. I recently learned that it is not associated with carmine color that comes from crushed beetles. #cherrylover
