Roasted Carrot Sandwich at Lola's Cafe — kmwalkley's Review (Jun 11, 2022)

It was the only vegan option on the menu. A very simple sandwich which was surprisingly good. Roasted carrots (minimally seasoned), hummus and arugula on a baguette bun. That’s it! Now, about that bun…Lola’s bakes their own breads and their bread is exceptional. Probably why such a simple sandwich was so dang good! Disappointing that such a good menu item was served with ordinary potato chips. It would be great if they would offer a choice of some homemade sides, vegan of course. Lola’s is getting a poke to add more vegan choices, but I really do recommend this sandwich.
