One of two vegan pasta options at Hanis: Spaghetti in olive oil with lots of garlic, red onion, red and green bell pepper, garnished with crispy fried shallots. (The other option is a mushroom aglio olio. The third non-pasta vegan option at Hanis is ... fries.)
Pick this only if you reeeally like the flavour of onions and bell pepper that are only lightly cooked, and so are still crunchy and taste quite sharp. It's also very garlicky. The crispy fried shallots are the standard type found on grocery shelves--not particularly crispy. Overall, the dish was well seasoned and an interesting version of aglio olio.
