Gee… I don’t know, guys. Sometimes gifts can be a hit or miss. Unfortunately, this was a miss 🤕 I’ve never had #vegangumbo or any gumbo for that matter. I guess TIL it’s tomato-based 😵‍💫 which I’ll forever repeat, I do not like in processed forms as such (ketchup, gravy, soup, etc) 😬

It was just a thicc insufficiently seasoned #vegantomatosoup stew thing…🤨 The weird thing is that it smelled good when it was on the stove but as soon as I tasted it… it was just underwhelming. Then, I caught the unpleasant traces of celery 😷 (which are just NOT for me). Like the #soup , the sausages were great in texture and mouthfeel but sorely lacked flavour. Though, it still wouldn’t beat Beyond sausage. Another strange thing was the amount of rice was in it. Is gumbo like this all the time? Like a 1 : 5 rice to stew ratio 🤔

No price on gifts 🫥 but I’m sorry the money was not made worthwhile.

I think this product needs a revamp, particularly in their seasonings. Otherwise, maybe don’t advertise it as something #readytoeat 👎
