I haven't had a meat hot dog in over 35 years, so I can't compare to meat, but these are really good! A simple meal by themselves with baked beans or I cut them in half and roll them up with Pillsbury crescent rolls (accidentally vegan) for a pot luck dish to surprise the neighbors and let them know that you don't have to harm an animal to eat well.
