Review of Nori Taco Sampler at Beyond Sushi (W 37th Street) by kimibun
The nori taco sampler features three different "seafood"/"fish" tacos wrapped with nori. They are relatively small and do not come with rice.
Overall, I love the idea and the originality of the tacos and think they're quite fun :) I didn't however care too much for the taste. The "crab" taco was made with a jackfruit base and tasted decently like what I think a non-vegan crab taco might taste like, but the salmon and tuna tacos did not. The latter two were made with a newly trending faux raw fish I've seen online (I think it's ZeaStar), which I personally am not much of a fan of. It was fun to try, but would not order again.
