This is originally a vegetarian dish because one of the components is a puree that contains butter, so I swapped out the puree to make it vegan. They were very accommodating, which I really appreciated!
This is the type of vegan dish you would expect to see at a steakhouse. Only a steakhouse would grill an entire block of (unseasoned?) tofu, top it with a hoizin glaze, and call it a meal lol. Luckily the brussel sprouts were delicious! It originally comes with a puree but I swapped it out for steamed green beans to make it vegan. The green beans were unfortunately flavorless.
It was a large portion, but $25 for a block of tofu, brussel sprouts, and green beans wasn't a great deal...
