Mae West at Boneshaker Doughnuts — Daniela Huyke's Review (May 7, 2022)

I was hoping the donut was only filled with delicious rhubarb, but it indeed had loads of their overpoweringly sweet pastry cream. It’s good, but I’m a bit tired of always tasting the kinda-same flavor donut.
The rhubarb was bomb and acidic to balance the sweetness. The meringue was just kinda there because once you get to the middle, you cannot taste anything else!
