Review of Waffles at Lilac Oak by shanna

🥞 If you're into crispy waffles, this probably will be it. Mildly sweet so you can enjoy your condiments like I did. Other waffles I've had tend to be on the chewy side, this went for more crispy. I think it'd be ideal to have more chewy insides. Perhaps add mashed banana or pumpkin, aqua faba, flax seed water 😉? I like the option for maple syrup on the side. I do think the big plate made the waffle look smaller than it is, which is a pity 🤔. I added fruits and gelato at additional cost, so the price adds up. But given the types of fruits provided (berries), I'm still good~ 😘
