Review of Chicken and Waffles at Herbie Butcher's Fried Chicken by jonok

One full golden waffle topped with maple butter and two pieces of Fried Chicken and 4 oz of 100% real maple syrup!

The waffle was perfectly done - light, fluffy and easy to cut through. The syrup was delicious and very maply - the perfect compliment to their classic maple butter. The chicken - in true Herbie Butcher's fashion - was perfectly done, crispy, and full of flavor. Truly, the best vegan fried chicken I have tasted.

Not much in the way of originality, but their vegan take on this classic American dish is a respectable, ethical new chapter in its storied history.
