a bit! The chicken as always was great. I wish the waffle was a bit crispier/firmer. I'm not the biggest fan of soft waffles, especially when it has to hold a lot of toppings. I really liked the maple butter. I thought the whole dish had a nice balance of sweet and salty.

The waffle was perfectly done - light, fluffy and easy to cut through. The syrup was delicious and very maply - the perfect compliment to their classic maple butter. The chicken - in true Herbie Butcher's fashion - was perfectly done, crispy, and full of flavor. Truly, the best vegan fried chicken I have tasted.
Not much in the way of originality, but their vegan take on this classic American dish is a respectable, ethical new chapter in its storied history.
