Expensive but a great treat. I'm not a massive fan of coconut, but the taste of coconut isn't overpowering.

Hi Irene, thanks so much for your review. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed your bar of Coco Mylk! We appreciate that our chocolate is a little more expensive than others on the market, but this is for good reason! Most commercial chocolate is cheap because big business exploit farmers to maximize their profits. We have long-term partnerships with fair-trade farmer's cooperatives in Ecuador and pay each farmer a fair wage and price for their cocoa beans. Cacao is the most expensive ingredient in chocolate, and we never go below 40%, with the vast majority of our range sitting at 55% plus cacao content. Other popular brands in the UK have between 20-25% and bulk up their products with cheaper ingredients, like milk and sugar. We only use high quality, organic ingredients, which is another reason why the cost of our chocolate is higher. We don't outsource to big factories like many of our competitors. We're a small company who lovingly make every batch from scratch in our chocolate factory in Cambridge, for example, every almond in Coco Almond is added by hand! We hope this helps to explain the price of our chocolate 😊
