
These salted edamame (whole immature soy beans) are a great snack any time night or day! I was in need of a midnight snack last night after I got home from work, and remembered I had these in the freezer after seeing @lil-chickpea share some edamame. Thanks!
Some of us prefer the convenience of pre-shelled edamame, or the more authentic, restaurant style experience of soybeans in a salted pod. You just bite into and squeeze/pull each soybean into your mouth from the little pod very easily. These are pretty much the perfect snack, and were salted just right. They might not look the most beautiful, some of them look a little iffy once out of the microwave or thawed, but trust me, it doesn’t have any impact on the great flavor of edamame. Not many other snacks can get your salt cravings down, while also getting in some of your greens 🥬 and tons of protein! I’ll definitely keep buying these!
