I don’t think my family ever cooked with ground pork when I was a child so I don’t have a basis for comparison here but I would rate this as a good product. The texture is nice and browned up easily. There’s not a lot of flavor in it but I imagine that’s by design; it is flexible for various different dishes depending on the seasoning and sauce. I do wish it was a touch more umami. Nice product. Have seen it at Grocery Outlet lately for a steal! A bit expensive for the price per oz at other retailers.

I used it in a chili recipe from their website and it was very tasty. Even my non-vegan friend who doesn’t particularly like faux meat, thought it was great.
