Delicious wholemeal quinoa, locally grown here in Germany. One of the arguments of anti-vegans here in Germany is that German vegans eat "decadent" food like quinoa which is grown thousands of miles away in South America for example and that vegans are therefore "bad for the environment". I love to show them this product then, ever since I found it at a vegan trade fair years ago, I've only been buying this locally sourced quinoa. It is a bit more expensive than store-bought quinoa from South America but I'm willing to pay the higher price for a product that is more environmentally friendly. Also comes in a package mostly (but not completely) made out of paper. Rich in protein and fibre. Price 5,95 €.

Oh I hate that argument! As if non vegans never buy bananas, or coffee, or californian almonds 🙄it's so hypocritical!
