Vegan Crispy Brussel Sprout Salad at The 05 — lilyycaroline's Review (Mar 12, 2022)

My family and I went out to dinner to celebrate my birthday and wanted to go somewhere new, so I found The 05. They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu which is nice and chose the Vegan Crispy Brussel Sprout Salad, which everyone online raves about. This salad had mixed greens dressed with chimmichurri, roasted crispy Brussel sprouts, roasted sweet potato chunks, sunflower seeds, and an apple cider glaze. My whole family LOVED their meals but mine was just ok. The flavors and textures were good, but this dish was too sweet and oily for me. There was no salt on the table for me to add to it to make it a bit better. It also was smaller than I expected and wasn’t super filling, as I didn’t feel very satisfied and had to have a snack when I got home. The location was pretty and they had live music, but they were really busy (Friday night) so it was very loud and crowded for such a small place. We still had good service and they were sweet and brought me a free birthday dessert (not vegan, so my omnivore family ate it).
