Hmm I’m not sure what to say about this Vegan Yuzu & Sake Ice Cream other than it’s like nothing I’ve ever had before… I can’t even put my finger on the flavor cause it’s just so subtly complex and there’s kinda a lot happening. The sake kasu taste is the most prominent and is almost like eating a fermented, alcoholic ice cream while the matcha shortbread pieces provide a slight note of green tea alongside the swirls of sweet, citrus-y yuzu marmalade. The ice cream is super creamy and the soft and cake-y shortbread texture complements it nicely so if you’re a fan of these Japanese-style flavors or are looking to branch out, then go for it! 🍵🍨🍊🍶
