

This dish itself was pretty nice and quite a larger starter. The roll has mushrooms and butternut squash in it and has a nice texture with a good flakey pastry. The beetroot relish is a nice touch as is the salad garnish.
However, I have very mixed feelings about this place. They have one starter (this), a main dish and a burger that’s vegan. They also offer a salad but without a dressing. This dish seems very inventive and quite unique for a vegan offering, but they don’t seem very accommodating to vegans in general. The burger is a plain moving mountains patty in a bun with lettuce. The chips are not vegan because they cook them in the same fryers as meat etc. so the burger comes with an undressed side salad. They don’t offer vegan cheeses or other sauces e.g. a vegan mayo. So the offering is limited.
