Review of Spicy Bean Burger at Wulf & Lamb by marijacarter

It isn’t easy to complain about a fully vegan place, but unfortunately it needs to be done. While not everything was 3 stars, this dish definitely was. The cheeze was weirdly tangy, too much sauce, but the main problem was the patty - it had the taste and texture of a slice of refried beans. It was difficult to get through, not enjoyable to fight to finish it at all (didn’t at the end). It is also not spicy at all, unless you consider a stack of raw onion on it “spicy.” Bun and fries were well done, but overall a disappointment. Also, ordered a £6.50 Beet Juice that was small, watery and SO GINGER-y that it was equally just a fight to finish. Ginger was not mentioned at all on the menu description, it was listed as “clear beet” but the overstuffed ginger overpowered everything. “Free Prosecco” with a main were about 2 sips each. Won’t be, unfortunately, visiting this place again.
