It’s grey and tastes terrible. The photos listed with the product show a nice creamy color, but the real color is grey and the flavor is worse. It does have the pepper jack flavor completely correct, but the underlying cheese flavor is really unappetizing that it makes the “cheese” inedible.
I’ve been dairy free for 6 months and every miyokos cheese I’ve tried has been horrible (pepper jack, cream cheese, chive wheel). However their butter is really great. I only wish their cheese lived up to the flavor of the butter.
So disappointing and a waste of money.
