Review of Hell's Half-Acre at Spiral Diner & Bakery by strawberrycupcake
Loved the mac & cheese, and I liked that the broccoli wasn't cooked to mush. It maintained some crunch! Texas Toast was pretty standard, soft & buttery with crispy bits. The only disappointment was the BBQ chikn - I guess I expected a crispy sort of fried type? But it was just chikn. I think it would've been better crispy with everything else. Sauce was fine, I'm not a huge BBQ person (but I wanted fried chikn lol!). Also, a note, it usually comes with pasta salad but they were out so I got extra mac.

strawberrycupcake Yeah, they have it easily marked on the menu which is helpful, but the only options are really some desserts & then pancakes ☹ Hey, is an Unrefined Bakery by you? I know there is also one in Dallas. Theyre all gluten-free and also have some vegan options - I've had their cupcakes & cookie sandwiches before. Reply
