Greyston Bakery was founded in 1982 by a Zen Buddhist monk, Bernie Glassman. Through an Open Hiringā¢ Model, Greyston provides a job and resources to individuals with barriers to employment, no questions asked. We create opportunities for people who have been formerly incarcerated, those with minimal education or no past job experiences and to those who do not speak English. Becasue of our mission, we became the OG maker of brownies for Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream over 37 years ago and continue as the pioneer of inclusive Open HiringĀ®. We offer through national retail outlets and our website a decadent variety of rich fudgy kosher individually wrapped CPG brownies and blondies, including the three (3) amazing vegan plant based brownie and blondie options made without eggs or dairy that are Kof-K Kosher (Dairy Equipment) and seen here on abillion. All our flavors are made with clean-label ingredients, fairtrade sugar and cocoa, ingredients that are not bioegineered, ethically sourced and no preservatives or artificial stuff.
