Review of Tempeh - The Tofoo Co. by janxr

I rarely have tempeh but really enjoyed this product - made with fermented organic soya beans the texture is v firm & filling, & it has a slightly nutty taste.
For those interested in the numbers it has a high protein content of 21.3/100g. 💪
Really easy to cook in a few mins in a pan/skillet for stir fries etc. 🍜🥢I used it to make 'tempeh bacon' marinating it briefly in soy sauce, agave & smoked paprika beforehand. (It didn't taste anything like bacon but was still delicious!) 😋
More expensive than tofu but it's also more substantial - this 200g pack (£2.75/Tesco) is enough for 3-4. 💰
