Review of Matcha Caramel Waffle at The Oatberry Cafe by shanying

A green tea waffles topped with a scoop of soy caramel ice cream, 1 strawberry cut up, almond flakes and very light drizzle of maple syrup. $15. No gst no service charge though it's a sit down cafe.

I think because this is also gluten free so the waffle itself is a bit chewy and dense. Can't taste the matcha. Kinda disappointed at it but the good thing is that it's not sweet at all and the ice cream scoop is small so you don't feel too guilty for eating it.

As a waffle monster, think the best handsdown is still at a certain matcha chain. 😂
