These vega bitterballen are actually vegan (confirmed by the waitress). They're delicious and the texture is pretty realistic. They're very similar to the betterballs from the vegan junkfood bar. Overall a lovely snack to order with your drinks or as a side dish.

ishara- There is vegan meat inside. I think you might have mistaken them for "kaassoufflé". That is a different Dutch snack, usually in a rectangular shape, filled with melted cheese. But if you want to try bitterballen, I highly recommend these or the ones from the vegan junkfood bar 😊1 likeReply
