Pulut hitam taro tart at Lilac Oak — fourdollars's Review (Oct 17, 2021)

Such a creative tart flavour! However having tried the taro tart this pales in comparison. The pulut hitam was true to traditional flavours but as it lacked the coconut milk topping the whole pulut hitam flavour wasn't fully expressed. The taro was great as usual! Love how it's creamy and mildly sweet but not cloying. Tart crust is not the crumbly sort but still nice.
