Loved my first experience at Saigon Vegan and decided to return for the deliciousness! I fell in love with the Bun Rieu during my previous visit, so I decided to try something similar this time around. The Canh Bun is a rice noodle soup with tomatoes, fish cake, oyster mushrooms, water spinach, Vietnamese ham, tofu, green onions, and fried onions, topped with cilantro. I thought everything about it was super tasty and flavorful! In the end, I like the Bun Rieu a bit more just because I prefer the thinner vermicelli noodles, but that’s not to say that makes this dish worse. Overall a very satisfying meal! #veganisnotscary 9/90
