I peeked in the deli case at Sprouts as I walked by, never expecting to see a huge bowl of this tangy buffalo wing-inspired dish. The deli worker said she has customers who come in several times weekly to buy a pound or more of it. So I was cautiously optimistic about the purchase.

I didn't realize there were so many fusilli noodles in the mixture so instead of eating it on crackers or as a sandwich, I made lettuce wraps with the Romaine and Buttercrunch leaves currently exploding in my garden.

Unfortunately I found the pasta salad to be quite oily, making it sort of gross to touch, but I did appreciate the Buffalo flavor and liked the addition of carrots in the salad. I would like it better if they made it without the pasta, which might reduce the need for so much oil. But as always I appreciate Sprouts showing up for the vegans and always having new products for us to buy.
