First time buying canned tomatillos 😅 it is a sweet - sour feeling — by one side I can eat Mexican tomatillos ❤️ by the other side — never seen before that they can be canned 😜 the flavor is not precisely the same because of the preservation process (love them green, fresh and raw) but it is a pleasant surprise that I can buy something like this here.
An expensive item but once in a while is perfect ❤️
Will I buy it again? For sure !

Fresh ones are sold everywhere in Mexico. Different varieties, colors and flavors but they are characterized by its sweet-sour flavor. “Physalis” is the genus. Center of origin: Mexico 🇲🇽 where today is an essential in every kitchen. I am missing fresh tomatillos today 😢
