Wow! This was PERFECT 🤤 I didn’t realise how much I’ve missed malva pudding! So impressed 👏
I know I’m usually advocating against sharing one’s dessert but, in this case, do not be fooled by the small-looking tub: the portion is in fact very generous and it is incredibly rich … so I would recommend sharing one. (I only came up with this epiphany after I’d wolfed down the whole thing.. whoops 😬😂)

taz It’s like a sponge cake, just sticky and gooey and sweet and delicious… kind of a caramelised texture. Served warm, usually with custard, cream, or ice cream. An iconic South African dessert 😁🇿🇦🤤💗3 likesReply
